Welcome to Haupt Pharma on Malta

On September 12, 2007 Haupt Pharma engaged in a cooperation with Siegfried Generics for the production of high potent, low dosed solid drugs on the Siegfried premises on Malta.

The Malta production site is a brand new site for solid dosage forms with a separate dedicated area for high potent substances. It was inaugurated in June 2007 and is in compliance with EU- and US GMP requirements. Film-coated tablets and highpotent and/or lowdosed solid dosage forms can be manufactured and blistered.

The cooperation on Malta enables Haupt Pharma

• to connect high quality development work with manufacture close to the customer.
• to manufacture products for early markets.
• to ensure prompt supply of sufficient launch quantities for new generic products.
• to increase Haupt Pharma’s delivery reliability and capacity by using Malta as a second source.
